I’ve been exploring Punta Gorda and one of the first things I saw, well actually heard, was an Eagle. When I started taking a picture of the eagle, I thought it had moved, but it turned out to be TWO eagles!
I found them along one of the many pathways they have here. I watched as people passed by, not even noticing them up in the trees. I like how they have a map that shows where you can find bathrooms, parks, bicycle repair stations, and water fountains.

Its a pretty nice area here. They have their special houses with fun designs, lots of plants and funny messages.
I am looking at properties today to see how much a house might cost here. The one down the street from the library was a 2 bedroom, 1-1/2 bath and was $375,000. I am hoping the cost is high because its near the Peace River and also in the historic district.
I’m going to have to go over the bridge eventually to get to some other stores, but am definitely procrastinating, partially because of the weather. This morning it was in the 70’s and quickly cooled down to the 60’s. Tonight’s low should be in the upper 40’s. It is still Florida, though, and will be back into the 80’s in just a couple of days.
And that reminds me. I had gone to IHop for breakfast this morning. Put it on your calendars…. February 25 is National Pancake day! You can get a free short stack at IHop. It’s a great deal if you enjoy pancakes. I’m not sure what the other places offer.
That’s all for now.
Today’s Tidbit: When no one else believes in you, remember that God still does and that is what you need to focus on.
